Nana’s Bakery – Hiring: Baking Helper!

Based in the province of British Columbia, located on 6329 Beresford Street in Burnaby and reporting to the Owner, the ‘Baking Helper’ is responsible for food preparation, mixing ingredients and storing product.
You must have a minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience working within a food production facility, ideally a bakery or another kind of food producer that sells perishable products at volume.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prep ingredients that are ready to be used in mixing machines
- Store ingredients/product in a safe and responsible way
- Prep dessert foods on baking trays that are destined for early morning baking
- Help with food orders that are being taken in-house and online
Knowledge
- 1-2 years experience in handling and storing food product
- Must be able to speak English
